...Tae...the little lady with the big smile...

my youngest daughter, Tae turned nine yesterday. In spite of the circumstances around her conception, she hasn't fail to bring sunshine and humor to my life...

...I hesitate to introduce you to my girls because they are close to my heart and I don't want to share them until I absolutely have to...

but they are soooo wonderful that I just can't help myself...

So, before I change my mind, a few facts about the world's greatest nine -year-old:

• she was born in San Antonio, Tx, in a hospital that's catacorner to the enchilada red public library.
• the surgeons were constantly hitting on my aunt, during surgery, yes while I was having her!
• she was born with her thumb in her mouth...I thought something was wrong until the hospital staff went "awwwww" and held her up, her little thumb in, sucking away.
• she didn't take that thumb out willing for a whole three years...she still sleeps with it, but don't tell anyone I told you, shhhhhh!
• even though she can't carry a tune in a bucket, she sings constantly
• she loves the Rolling Stones and the Beatles...(don't look at me...)
• she loves to swim....
• she will own you on Def Jam-Fight for New York...(yes, I know it has profanity in it )
• she thought that the divorce meant that she could have my room....
